Regional Sales Director (APAC)
The Role
We are seeking an highly strategic and deeply networked Regional Sales Director to lead our expansion across the APAC region. Operating as a full-time consultant on an indefinite assignment, you will own the end-to-end sales lifecycle for enterprise-grade mobile identity and authentication solutions.
You will be tasked with protecting and expanding our relationships with current major accounts while hunting for new business across APAC’s largest super-apps, gaming platforms, e-commerce networks, and digital financial institutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Identify, target, and close high-value enterprise accounts across Asia, replicating our success with market leaders like TikTok, Alibaba, and Tencent.
- Drive sales into high-growth verticals where mobile risk scoring, frictionless authentication, and OTP-free onboarding are mission-critical.
- Maintain a high-touch presence with existing massive-scale clients, navigating complex corporate structures in Mainland China and APAC.
- Confidently articulate the value of API-driven Network Biometrics, data matching, and mobile routing intelligence to technical stakeholders — CTOs, CISOs, and Fraud/Risk Officers.
- Act as the regional market expert, refining TMT ID’s go-to-market messaging for specific APAC nuances and regulatory landscapes including KYC, AML, and Age Assurance.
- The Sales Director will be specifically tasked with penetrating regional heavyweights and expanding into high fraud/high-volume alternative verticals.
What you need to know/have
- Experience: 8+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, specifically selling into the cybersecurity, identity verification (IDV), fraud prevention, telecom, or data analytics sectors.
- Regional Networks: Proven, verifiable track record of selling to C-level executives and tech teams within major Chinese and Asian tech ecosystems.
- Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English and Mandarin (Putonghua) is mandatory due to heavy focus on Mainland China clients. Professional proficiency in Cantonese is highly advantageous.
- Structure Comfort: High comfort level working autonomously under a long-term contract/consultancy structure with clear performance-based milestones and uncapped commission incentives.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to naturally understand and explain API integrations, telecommunication routing data, and risk-scoring algorithms.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, primarily into Mainland China tech hubs (Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Beijing) and key Southeast Asian centers.
