Junior Security and Compliance Analyst

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security and Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic Compliance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s efforts to maintain and enhance its security and compliance posture. What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of our comprehensive compliance program, including frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2, and ISO 9001.
• Support the review and development of internal policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date with the latest regulations and best practices.
• Assist in completing security and compliance questionnaires from clients and partners, accurately reflecting our security posture.
• Help monitor our security systems for potential threats and assist in the initial response and triage of security alerts.
• Participate in risk assessment activities to identify and evaluate potential security risks to the organization.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
• Provide support for the company’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program.

What you need to know/have

• A high level of written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. The role requires the ability to articulate complex security concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as to draft precise and easily understandable policy documentation.
• A basic understanding of fundamental security principles, such as access control, encryption, and network security.
• A keen interest in data protection regulations (like GDPR) and industry standards (like ISO 27001).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A strong desire to learn and develop professionally in the security and compliance field.
• A degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
